Chartered Procurement & Supply Professional.
Dr. Faith is a seasoned Chartered Procurement and Supply professional (MCIPS) with extensive work experience in the field of Procurement and Supply Chain Management. In 2019, she became one of twelve South African professionals to be awarded Fellow (FCIPS) status by CIPS UK, which is a senior advocate status with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
Dr. Faith holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degree from Wits University. Her qualifications also include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), a Hons B Com Degree in Financial Accounting from University of South Africa (UNISA), a B Com degree from Wits University and a certificate in Legislative Drafting from the University of Pretoria (UP).
Her dynamic work experience spans across the private and the public sector in various Procurement and Supply Chain roles. In September 2020, Dr. Faith was appointed as Head: Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE) for Nedbank. Prior to that, she held the position of Financial Director: Expenditure for the Tshwane University of Technology and has also worked for two of the largest State-Owned Entities (SOEs) in South Africa.
Dr. Faith is a feature contributor for Supply Network Africa Publication where she continues to share her expertise as a thought leader in the Procurement & Supply profession. She has also had speaking opportunities at influential platforms such as the distinguished 2020 CIPS Africa Executive Summit, 2020 UN Women & Smart Procurement Webinar, 2020 Big Debate Webinar hosted by Black Business Council, 2019 UN Women Gender Procurement conference, 2019 National Public Sector Supply Chain Audit Convention, 2019 SAPICS conference, 2019 SmartProcurement World KZN conference, Newzroom Afrika TV Channel, MotswedingFM, Lesedi FM, Tshwane FM, Mahikeng FM and YouFM 898.
As young female leader who is a staunch advocate for empowerment and development of society, in August 2019, Dr. Faith and her sister, Amantle Mokubung, championed the foundation of “Makgarebe A Mahikeng”, which is a movement that is aimed at connecting and empowering young females from her hometown, Mahikeng.
