A seasoned Business strategist, Marketer and Social Activist with over 25 years global experience in all spheres of Marketing within Public and Private sectors.

She has over time honed her service to turnkey stakeholder relationship management and global business development services. Recently having successfully spearheaded PPP transactions across SADEC.

As the JCCI President, 1 st Black Female President in 130 years, the inclusion of women in mainstream local, intra- regional and global multi sectoral trade opportunities a key objective. During her tenure Women and Youth Clusters and Commissions have been set up to empower these beneficiary groups. These included Youth Commission, Women’s Commission, Women in Business Desk, Wellness and Beauty Cluster, Women in Agriculture and Agro processing and the JCCI Businesswomen’s Golf Day, amongst others.


She also launched the JCCI President Covid19 Relief Programme with various stakeholders that successfully distributed over 90 000 meals, thousands of sanitary pads and disposable nappies to the most vulnerable communities throughout Gauteng.


Born, bred and educated in Port Elizabeth and sensitized in Nigeria, Namibia and China, she studied Bachelor of Commerce degree and has required value laden skills set through her diverse, yet complementary business exposure.


Jacki is a mother of two sons, who is passionate about the re-empowerment of marginalized society through access to opportunities, training, development, support and technology innovation. As a proud daughter of the African soil, the attainment of the African Dream her inspirational driver and purpose.



Within the ICT Sector, she was part of the strategy and implementation Team that launched Cell C to market. As Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs and Company Spokesperson at WBS iBurst (Africa), she launched iBurst to market and held an Executive position at Altech Autopage as Telecommunications General Manager: Retail Sales. These roles entrenched her relationships with all industry stakeholders including Networks, Manufactures, Value Add Service Providers, Civil Society, Government and Media. Part of her responsibilities were to guide, inform and implement Transformation and Broadbased Economic empowerment with the Retail Franchised Sector.


As a Broadcasting Industry Pioneer and Creative, she was a founding member of the Independent Producers Organization of South Africa and one of South Africa’s 1st Black Female Television and Film Producers who gained global experience with French based broadcaster TF1 on South Africa’s 1ST Free to Air Television Bid. In front of the camera, she was an actress, presenter and talk show host.


Outside the ICT Sector, she established herself as a Social Activist, in support of Government’s Broader social agenda to create a just society where all South Africans could be equal beneficiaries of democracy. This led to her working on Global Campaigns and events with the Presidency (Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki), with Government Communications and information Services and National Prosecution Authority on United Nations 16 Days of Activism, with Department of Social Development on Everyday Heroes awards for the elderly and with Amnesty International on their Global Conference. Prolific leaders and global icons such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Ahmed Kathrada, President Thabo Mbeki, Winnie Mandela, Miriam Makeba, Quincy Jones, Teddy Pendergrass, Chuchu Valdes, Indi Arie, Oletta Adams and different Artists of the new South Africa, are amongst some of the clients she has interacted with.


As a National asset, the Rugby World Cup, the Olympic Bid, the Soccer World Cup. MNet Face of Africa, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma Farewell to African Union, the National Municipal Elections 2011 and Tanzania Presidential Elections 2015, just some of the projects she played emancipation, she serves as a mentor for some Youth and Women owned SMME’s. In her spare time, she also is a Motivational and Public Speaker on various business and lifestyle topics.
